Celebs can’t get enough of charity, that’s a fact. Jennifer Love Hewitt (would-be-actress/singer) has been hosting annual “The Envelope Please” Oscar viewing party for four years. It’s a joint effort between SBE’s The Abbey and Los Angeles Magazine to raise much-needed funds and awareness for AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA).

Aretha Franklin to perform at Indy Jazz Fast
The American Pianists Association (APA) announced that none other than the divine Aretha Franklin will perform Saturday at the 2008 Kroger Indy Jazz Fest presented by Coca-Cola, which will be held June 13-15 at Military Park in downtown Indianapolis.

On February 6th, 2008, Gucci and Madonna hosted a fundraising event called A NIGHT TO BENEFIT RAISING MALAWI AND UNICEF. The event took place on the North Lawn of the United Nations, held in a 42,000 square foot tent erected specifically for the evening.
